ABP was founded by Jason Fontaine and Daniel Sosa who have a combined experience of over 25 years in the beverage distribution/supplier industry in Southern California. They run the day to day sales operations and are involved in all aspects of the business.
Jason Fontaine: Managing Partner
Jason started in the DSD industry in 1995 with The Gallo Wine Company. He started as a Sales Representative and worked his way up, over 4 years, to an Area Sales Manager in Orange County responsible for over $30 million in sales annually. Following Gallo, Jason took the role of Area Sales Manager for Wine Warehouse. At Wine Warehouse, Jason was responsible for growing and developing their chain grocery and drug business for ½ of Southern California, which generated over $50 million annually. In 2001 Jason moved to Nestle Waters North America. For the next 7 years Jason held a variety of roles, the last being Regional Sales Manager – Southern California. As a RSM, Jason was responsible for managing NWNA’s Southern California distribution network, which accounted for over 3 million cases in volume annually. In 2007 Jason moved on to Prestige Sales as a General Manager. At Prestige Sales Jason was responsible for all aspects of the business, which generated over $60 million in sales annually. His core focuses were developing and focusing over 100 employees towards the growth and development of Red Bull, Voss Water, Welch's Juices, Stone Brewing Company, Four Loko and many more.
Daniel Sosa: Managing Partner
Daniel started in the DSD industry in 1996 with Frito Lay. Over Daniel’s 6 years at Frito Lay he moved from merchandiser to a new business development manager. As a NBDM he generated new streams of revenue for Frito while helping to launch multiple new brands and line extensions. Following Frito Lay, Daniel moved to Kraft foods as an operations manager where he spearheaded a new logistical process that increased efficiencies by more than 30%. In 2003 Daniel took a sales representative position with The Pepsi Bottling Group where he spent the next 6 years working his way up to sales operations manager. As a SOM he was responsible for 245 people that included all delivery, merchandising and warehouse operations for the San Fernando Valley market. Following Daniels time at Pepsi he moved to Prestige Sales as the Director of Sales. He was responsible for all sales and operations in Orange County and the Inland Empire for Red Bull, Voss Water, Welch's juices, Stone Brewing, Four Loko and many more. During his time at Prestige, Daniel was instrumental in launching and developing Four Loko into a market leader as well as building a sales organization that consistently ranked in the top 5 nationally with the Red Bull brand.
